What is brow henna?
Brow henna is a natural-based tint that dyes both the hair and the skin.
Thanks to this tint, we can change the brow design without using any type of needle. The henna we have available at Seena Owell has passed all health controls and contains no toxic or harmful components for health. It is made in India and processed in the European Union.
Brow henna has become one of the most in-demand treatments in beauty centers.
How to use brow henna for beauty professionals
You can start your service by preparing the brows for the following steps. Use a micellar makeup remover. At Seena Owell we have one from the brand Refectocil that is oil-free.
You can wax/thread the brows if necessary
The next step will be to apply the exfoliant. You should gently rub the area to remove dead skin cells. By preparing the brows this way, the stain on the skin will last as long as possible. To remove the gritty residue from the exfoliant, you can wipe with a cotton pad soaked in cleansing lotion.
Once exfoliation is done, we move on to brow mapping/design. At Seena Owell you’ll find pre-inked thread available for this. It is available in white or black. This thread can be used in any service for brow design.
We choose the most suitable henna shade for our client. You have 6 different shades available: black, gray, dark brown, medium brown, light brown, and blonde. Keep in mind that henna shades, since they are made from natural-based products, provide a darker coloration.
Henna powder should always be mixed with warm water and in the same proportions. After creating your creamy mixture, it should be applied to the skin and left to process for the appropriate time depending on the intensity you want for the brows.
Once the time indicated by the manufacturer has passed, remove it with a damp cotton pad until the brows are completely clean.
Explain to your client the aftercare they should follow so your service is a success.
After 24 hours, the client will be able to apply makeup and any type of creams without losing the brow shape.
The service duration is between 45 minutes and 1 hour. The duration on the skin is 3–7 days depending on skin type and the aftercare the client follows.
This service is not recommended for pregnant people.
It is important to perform an allergy test beforehand.
In addition, this service can be performed after the brow lamination service.
