What is PolyAcry Gel?
PolyAcry Gel is the latest novelty on the market in nail products. It is also known as Polygel or Acrygel.
This product is a hybrid between acrylic and gel. This is how we get the best out of each product. PolyAcry Gel will give the nails the hardness and resistance of acrylic and the flexibility of the gel. In Seena Owell we have 5 different tones among which you will find transparent color, white and camouflage tones to build the base of the nail creating a natural look.
This product is molded with a synthetic brush, moistened with a liquid called SOLUTION. Thanks to this mixture, the product will not drain and will be very easy to mold to lengthen or cover the natural nail. It is an odorless product, unlike acrylic. Filing is much easier and lighter. The dust that is released remains less in suspension in the air in contrast to acrylic powder.
A UV/LED lamp is needed to dry these types of nails. So it allows you to mold the nail without time limit as this product does not dry in the air.
Necessary products
This technique requires some fundamental products:
- Primer Base One: It is a primer with reinforced adhesion that will completely eliminate the grease and water residues of the nail leaving it in a perfect state, so any product that is put next will adhere better.
- Base coat: This base is a light and transparent gel that will help to prepare the nail for a better adhesion of the PolyAcryl Gel, making it easier to build the nail.
- PolyAcryl gel: Gel and acrylic resistant product, toxic vapor free and easy to use. It can be used to strengthen the nail and also to build it. Available in 5 different shades.
- Solution: Liquid product with a very pleasant smell. In order to give the desired nail shape we must model the PolyAcryl Gel with the brush dampened in Solution until we get the design wished by the client.
How to use PolyAcryl Gel
It is necessary to file the nail superficially before starting the application of PolyAcryl Gel, with a file of grain 100/100 to make the surface porous and to avoid the product lifting.
After building the nails, it is necessary to dry the product in a UV/LED lamp. When the product is completely dry (2 minutes in UV or 30 seconds with a LED), we must clean with a cellulose soaked in Solution the sticky rest of the nail. Afterwards, it will only be left to file and shape the nail and makeup it with permanent nail polish.
A synthetic brush is required to work with this product. At Seena Owell we have the perfect brush with two different ends. One will help you extract the product from the bottle and place it on the nail, and the other one is a synthetic brush that will not absorb the product.
