Finally! Spring begins and, as soon as we see a ray of sunshine, the first thing our clients look for is putting on sandals and showing off their feet. The season of boots and cold weather is left behind.

Take care of your feet! They carry you all day long.
Taking care of your feet should be a mandatory step throughout all seasons. Even if the weather isn't right for showing off your feet outdoors, they should always be well cared for. Keeping nails well trimmed and skin hydrated without calluses will mean that, by the time summer arrives, feet are in perfect condition to be shown off. That's why it's important to remind your clients that maintenance pedicures exist to care for their feet until the next season. That's also why we recommend getting a professional pedicure.
Additionally, for clients prone to cracked heels, it's especially important to have a maintenance pedicure regularly. This way, we'll prevent dryness and calluses from becoming harder to remove. By keeping the area nourished, the skin regenerates and recovers faster. For this we recommend using the Mango Mend balm for cracked heels. You can use this product during pedicures, and your clients can take it home for maintenance.

Waterless pedicure, but very hydrating.
For hygiene reasons, fewer and fewer salons have sinks for pedicures. If this is your case, we suggest an option of working with high-quality products that will make your service hygienic and result in a 10 out of 10.
For this we suggest using special waterless pedicure socks that contain nutrients for the skin and nails such as vegetable Keratin, Shea Butter and actives like Urea, softeners and Vitamin E. They also provide protection against UV radiation, protect the skin from external aggressors like temperature and dryness, and are suitable for all skin types, so they can become a staple for pedicures.
How to use them is very simple. First you should trim and file the nails, then put your client's feet into the socks. The secret to their success is leaving them on for 10 minutes so the cuticles soften and the skin absorbs the nutrients.
Tip: After 10 minutes, remove the tips of the socks so you can work and trim the cuticles if needed.
Seena Owell
To finish the service, remove the socks and give a relaxing massage until the cream is fully absorbed.
Remember that a massage should never be missing from any of your services!

Exfoliating pedicure: perfect for poorly cared-for feet
Removing dead skin cells has beneficial effects such as brightening and intensively helping substances to penetrate. For this we suggest another type of dry pedicure, but this time with a mechanical exfoliant and a super nourishing cream.
The exfoliant is the Mango brand one. It contains Mango seeds, Aloe Vera, grape seed, Jojoba oil and vitamin E among other compounds that, besides exfoliating, will nourish the skin.
Tip: You can remove this exfoliant with a compact wipe soaked in water. You don't need a sink to use it.
Seena Owell
It's the perfect complement to use with creams from the same brand. At Seena Owell you'll find different types of creams designed to solve skin problems such as dryness, cracked heels and even blisters.

Among its many properties are its antiseptic qualities. You can use it to heal cuts and wounds, sunburns, nail fungus, athlete's foot, warts, herpes and any type of infection.

On top of its many uses, it has a super low price!

Following all hygiene recommendations at your salon will build more trust with your clientele as well as help prevent contagion. That's why we recommend that, whenever possible, you work with disposable products. As for other non-disposable products, you must clean and sterilise them after each use.
For pedicures we have disposable foot files, nail files and callus removers for your salon that you can throw away, or give to your client after using them in the service.
Besides avoiding wasting products, you'll have a nice touch for your client and she'll be delighted!
