The ideal temperature would be between 19º-23º and a humidity level between 45% and 75%. We can easily follow these steps thanks to a thermometer to guide us. It's important to remove makeup from the lashes, since there's dirt in the environment that we can't see but that sticks to every part of our body. You should use a non-oily makeup remover, because oil in these cases will prevent our glue from lasting. Applying eyelash extension primer after removing makeup is an important step we shouldn't skip. Primer for eyelash extensions has a small alcohol concentration that helps dehydrate the natural lash, which will allow the glue to bond the extension to the natural lash much better. The importance of the following 24 hours.
In case you didn't know, the glue takes about 24 hours to dry completely. This is why we have to tell the client that it's VERY important not to apply water, cream, or makeup to the eye area during the first 24 hours, in order to avoid premature loss of the eyelash extensions. Afterwards, if she wants to apply mascara, it should be one specifically designed for use with eyelash extensions, and to remove makeup she should use a non-oily makeup remover. Remember to apply a glue sealer once you've finished the service — it will help encapsulate the glue and make the eyelash extensions last longer, and you can also sell this product to your clients.
